But it's more than just a restaurant - it's a love story Pepijn, a local from Maastricht, met Cengy, from Puebla, Mexico, during his travels. United by their passion for Mexican food, they fell in love and decided to bring authentic Mexican cuisine to Maastricht. Not just tacos and quesadillas. Also chilaquiles, chalupas, mole, enchiladas We take pride in making our food completely homemade, using only authentic Mexican ingredients - no substitutions. Our vibe is casual, and we're known for our quick, friendly service. At Jitomato, we prepare our dishes just as they are made in Mexico - no twists, no fusion, just real, traditional flavors.
